SR&ED Lab is a business of 15331269 Canada Inc., an Ontario-based federal corporation. It is responsible for the personal information described here under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). Questions and requests go to privacy@sredlab.ca.

When you ask for a Verdict, the form sends:

• your name, email and company, so I can reply;
• your fiscal year end and R&D spend band, so I can tell whether a Claim is possible and in time;
• your answer about what you built, so the qualifying call starts from something real;
• how you found the site, if you arrived through a referral link, so a referral can be credited.

It is used to answer your request and, if we work together, to prepare your Claim. It is never sold, never shared for marketing, and never added to a mailing list.

The site keeps no access logs. It stores two small items in your own browser: whether you accepted analytics, and the referral source for the current visit.

Form submissions are stored in an encrypted database in Amazon Web Services' Canada (Central) region, in Montreal. A notification with the same details is emailed to me, which passes through Amazon's email service in the United States and my email provider.

Documents you share during an engagement, such as payroll, invoices or access to your code, are covered by the engagement letter, not by this page, and are never uploaded through this site.

If you accept, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. Google processes that data, including in the United States. If you decline, or never answer, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookies are set. The site works the same either way. To change your choice, clear this site's data in your browser and the question will appear again.

Form submissions are deleted automatically 24 months after they arrive. If we sign an engagement, the records that the engagement and the tax rules require are kept for as long as they require.
